Best regards, Ray LIGHTHOUSE TRAVEL 800-719-9917 or 805-566-3905 http://www.lighthousetravel.com MIAMI FL, Feb. 26 Seabourn Cruise Line, widely recognized pioneer in small ship, ultra luxury cruising, today announced it is mounting a major “refinement and enhancement” program for its highly popular yacht-like cruisers. (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20010226/FLM008-a ) (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20010226/FLM008-b ) (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20010226/FLM008-c ) Called “Seabourn Refined,” the program was described by Richard Meadows, CTC, Seabourn Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as “a giant step in our continuing mission to provide discerning travelers with the ultimate cruise experience.” “We are making this unprecedented commitment to demonstrate to repeat and new guests alike that Seabourn’s style of intimate and exclusive cruising continues to be the finest available,” Meadows stated. Key elements of the program, the first in a lengthy series, will go into effect aboard the 208-guest Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend and the 116- guest Seabourn Goddess I & II, when the elegant, small ships commence their annual European season this spring. A sampling of these initial “Seabourn Refinements” include: Complimentary Wines and Spirits — Throughout each of the yacht-like ships, in all bars, lounges, and dining areas, a selection of fine wines and spirits will be complimentary. Guests’ in-suite bars will be stocked with their choice of internationally known wines and spirits as well. Random Massage Moments — Lounging on deck, relaxing by the pool or Jacuzzi, Seabourn guests will enjoy the pleasures of a complimentary mini- massage to soothe away whatever vestiges of stress might remain from life before Seabourn. Complimentary Shore Events — In 2002, Seabourn will offer a unique, complimentary shoreside experience in a port of call on every voyage. French Balconies Offer Sunshine and Ocean Breezes — Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend now feature many suites (36 per vessel) with step-out, Riviera-style French Balconies, each with floor to ceiling glass doors, in addition to the six full verandas on each ship’s premium category suites. These unique balconies provide opportunities for guests to enjoy the sun, sea air and panoramic views from the privacy of their own suite. Elegant Amenities — In addition to Seabourn’s present array of exclusives such as famed Hadeland crystal and Taste-Sambonet silver service, a wide variety of other onboard product enhancements will be introduced, such as designer guest robes and towels of fine Egyptian cotton and new in-suite toiletries. “These refinements and enhancements represent only the beginning of what we plan for a new Seabourn Experience,” Meadows said. “Our ‘Seabourn Refined’ commitment uniquely defines true luxury by exceedingly exacting standards of excellence unmatched in the cruise industry,” he added. Special Seabourn Touches — Additionally, guests will find a wide variety of Seabourn “Special Touches” many have come to appreciate when cruising aboard the line’s intimate yacht-like vessels. These include: Open seating dining; Course-by-course European dining service in the privacy of guest suites; casual dining options; The unique water sports Marinas of Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend and the stern platforms of Seabourn Goddess I & II; The highly regarded “Dress Circle” series of distinguished onboard lecturers; Creative itineraries throughout the Mediterranean & Atlantic Isles, Scandinavia & Russia, Asia, India, Arabia & Africa, the Americas, Caribbean, and Trans-Atlantic crossings. All of this is commanded by the legendary excellence of Norwegian seamanship. Seabourn is an ultra luxury cruise line with stylish, intimate vessels. The Seabourn fleet includes Seabourn Sun, Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend and Seabourn Goddess I & II.
