massage therapy
Question:
Can anyone suggest how to find a GOOD massage therapist? Is there an association with a web page that I could consult to find a recognized local therapist? Is it possible to arrange for home visits for someone with chronic leg pain? TIA George
Response:
Ziggy, I don’t think insurance would cover your friend’s charges either. Thanks for the response. The AMTA is certainly not the only game in town, there are other organisations that QUALIFY therapists. Furthermore there are newer and more flexible groups that admit members who practice a number of different modalities. Not that an AMTA member would be a bad therapist, it’s just that one who is not a member may be just as good if not better. Ask your friends first, someone probably has a bodyworker they can refer you to, the proof is in the pudding not the recipie.

Interested in finding out about a career in massage therapy. Good schools and where to find a job afterwards. If this is not where to ask, where is better?
