Your masseuse is a rare find, and a jewel.  I know.  She comes to my house on Tuesdays.   I have had many disappointments with the massages I have received on ships. They have quoted 50 minute massages which turned into 40 minute massages, the first ten minutes being spent unnecessarily "interviewing". I have had a few nice experiences getting massages on beaches, especially in Cozumel. Ermalee

As posted here by others, they are expensive, and frankly the quality has been hit or miss.  I’ve heard people complain that the men are very rough on other men.  My husband now gets a massage the day before we leave at a local spa. We’re supporting a local business and he gets to go into vacation mode a day early.

Steve…  I cruise quite often and yeh…  at least once during a cruise I retain one of the Steiner "chicks" to massage away the aches and pains in this old man’s decrepid body.  The Steiner gals that I have had for this service…  most were rather attractive and personable. But Howie is right…  it’s awfully expensive.  For people on a budget…  I would say forget it. And no unfortunately…  I don’t have any wild sea stories about my high seas massages.  (smile) Best regards Bill
