Hey remember, folks, Marissa says she’s an ornithologist. I guess that makes the rest of us very ordinary "dull normals" with dull normal jobs. Ornithologist … yeah, sure, whatever you say. And *I’m* a brain surgeon. — Linda
Response:
Ahh, an excellent job for someone that is putting his or herself through a post-highschool diploma. I never worked at a fast food joint, but have worked for near-minnimum wage at the local computer store. I see it this way, if you are contributing to the general welfare by working or volunteering, I have no problems. The people I have problems with are the welfare people that simply won’t even bother trying to get a job, being disabled is a totally different thing. Comming from a small town in Southern Ohio, I know of many "welfare junkies" that refuse to work. At one time while working as an independant contractor for the school system I offered a job to a seemingly intelligent 32 yr old and he refused it. Beeker

good for you . I used to work at Mcdonalds too about 20 years ago and loved every minute of it. I got a free meal every night, the work was easy and I worked with a fantastic bunch of people. If I was able to work now I would do it again like a shot! — Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).

please do not try to inflict *your* morals and standards on me.If you like to be ‘nicer’ then that is your preference. I prefer to speak as I find, and if thats not nice, tough titties. Why, Marissa, do you refer to yourself as "he"? > I think that a whipping with a buddy whip > would benefit everyone who has a smart mouth here immensely.
Buddy whip? No, I won’t even go there… > For all I know, you people could be cooking hamburgers at > McDonald’s

Big deal if you do post under many names. You wouldn’t be the first or the last to do so. And doing so is not necessaarily a bad thing. > account in google, but he doesn’t post in rec.pets.* My son and 2 > daughters like parrots okay, but not enough to write on here. ooh, violence. Now there’s the best problem solver you could ever use. > I can see why people leave groups because instead of getting info on > their beloved pets, they get harassed, dentigrated, picked on, and > critized. As if it’s my fault that I live in MN. I am quite sure that
Actually, where you live is your own decission. > there are several of you who happen to bunk in the same state and are > two different persons. I usually just read the messages here, but
I don’t know that there are several, but I know of at least one Minnesotan who is known here by a couple of names. > don’t post (I wonder why, hint hint), as I read posts, I usually bump

Nobody here had any information that would have helped (other than ‘take it to a vet’ and she did) so the outcome was completey unaffected by any responses that were posted no matter how rude or critical. > Unless of course your stupid, but we won’t go into that.
you’d offend many people if you did, but many more would not realize that it pertained to them. > The point that I’m trying to make (and the moral) is that: Point – I > am not 5 people. That’s mighty white of you to believe that ornithology is somehow better than flipping burgers. Personally, I’ve never needed the services of an ornithologist, But those burger flippers sure do come in handy a couple of times a week. –Jynx–, aka MJ, aka **Mick**

And I really am not. Why is it that because I live in MN that suddenly I am accused of being 5 people in 1? Why are you people so like cats, ready to pounce and pick apart a person who, by CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE, is accused of being something he is not? My husband has an account in google, but he doesn’t post in rec.pets.* My son and 2 daughters like parrots okay, but not enough to write on here. (In some ways, they are probably living a better life not being on here.) Why do you people love to point fingers, give a innocent person a bad reputation, and act so RUDE? I think that a whipping with a buddy whip would benefit everyone who has a smart mouth here immensely. I can see why people leave groups because instead of getting info on their beloved pets, they get harassed, dentigrated, picked on, and critized. As if it’s my fault that I live in MN. I am quite sure that there are several of you who happen to bunk in the same state and are two different persons. I usually just read the messages here, but don’t post (I wonder why, hint hint), as I read posts, I usually bump into someone blaming, critizing, or smart mouthing someone else. For instance, I do believe it was Brandyrose who asked a simple question. Instead of answering her question, you just reply in a very stupid way. Okay, so she could have worded her question differently, but I am quite sure that we understood what she ment. If you would have answered her in a relevant manner, her bird may have avoided death. Unless of course your stupid, but we won’t go into that. The point that I’m trying to make (and the moral) is that: Point – I am not 5 people. I am just one person. Moral – You people need to be nicer and get a life. I spend my life as a ornithologist, and am glad of it. For all I know, you people could be cooking hamburgers at McDonald’s. Marissa
